WPM's Becky Clise Appointed to President of the Maryland Multi-Housing Association
WPM Real Estate Management announced today that WPM Multifamily Senior Regional Property Manager Becky Clise has been elected to serve as President of the Maryland Multi-Housing Association (MMHA). A professional membership organization, MMHA provides education, information, legislative and advocacy services that enable members to operate successfully while contributing to the broader community.
"The MMHA plays a critical role in promoting and maintaining the highest professional standards of excellence," notes Clise. "I'm honored to serve as Board President and look forward to working with industry leaders and associate partners to continue the organization's commitment to education and its work to strengthen the rental housing industry's contributions to the community."
As Board President, Clise will be responsible for leading the association's board of directors, setting strategy and engaging in legislative discussions that affect its members, advancing the education and professional development opportunities for industry leaders, as well as raising awareness for the organization's work and its instrumental role in serving the needs of both the community and the multifamily industry.
Clise joined WPM Real Estate Management in 2013 and has more than 30 years of experience working in the multifamily residential industry. She started her career as a Leasing Consultant, quickly moving into Property Manager and Regional Property Manager positions. Her career also includes serving as Regional Marketing and Training Director for a portfolio of 3,900 multifamily units across three states, as well as managing 960 units for a large REIT in Baltimore. Prior to her appointment as Board President, Clise had been active with the Maryland Multi-Housing Association serving on various committees and preparing herself for leadership roles within the organization. She holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM(r)).
